The founder of House Of Kolor, Jon Kosmoski, teamed with a doctor in polymer chemistry back in 1956. They set out to do it better and produce custom paints that wouldn’t tarnish, crack or sun-fade, even in severe climates and radical temperature changes.

Jon knew from experience that custom paints not only have to endure the elements, but also need to withstand the potential problems common with high film builds - the many coats required for a custom paint job.

Over the years, House Of Kolor became world renowned for the best custom paints available. Today, with the resources of Valspar behind him - a long established coatings business - Jon and House Of Kolor continue spending months and often years, researching and developing our custom paint products, then manufacturing them with only the finest ingredients available. Thousands of custom painters have won “best paint” awards using House Of Kolor.
